9 weeks

9 weeks

How far along? 9 weeks
Total weight gain/loss: still sitting at my prepregnancy weight so far.
Maternity clothes? I just keep wearing the same two pairs of pants that actually fit. I need to go get some so I can stop doing so much laundry.
Stretch marks? No new ones
Sleep: I still sleep great. I just wish my energy levels reflected it because I'm always exhausted.
Best moment this week: got pre-approved and put an offer down on a house. I'm starting to dream about nursery plans now!
Miss anything? Having energy and patience
Movement: I seriously can't wait! I know people who feel their second baby around eleven weeks so I'm hopefully it will be sooner this go around.
Food cravings: nothing so far
Anything making you queasy or sick: not eating. I've really started having way more food aversion this week where the thought of eating certain foods just gives me waves of nausea. I'm no where near as sick as I was in my last two pregnancies still though which is nice. I've started taking a little bit of diclegis now but not a full dose.
Have you started to show yet: some, how much depends on what I wear that day.
Gender: this week Elli has started telling me that it's a baby brother (and asking to see the baby while pulling down my shirt). So I guess we'll see what happens.
Labor signs: no.
Bell button in or out? In.
Wedding rings on or off? On.
Happy or moody most of the time: moody. I cry more than any pregnancy previous and I'm so exhausted that my patience is almost non existent.
Looking forward to: I think I'm going to announce soon as long as our appointment today goes good. Or at least take pictures for our announcement. I'm also excited for our appointment today if kinda nervous.

  • This is a milestone. She's no longer an embryo — now she's a fetus!
  • She's developing more distinct facial features.
  • And she might now have a strong enough heartbeat to be picked up by a fetal doppler.
She's gaining steam! At 9 weeks, your fetus measures around .9 inches and weighs about .07 ounces.
