16 Weeks

16 Weeks

How far along? 16 weeks
Total weight gain/loss: I'm still sitting at the same weight as I was before I got pregnant
Maternity clothes? A little more need for them this week and I've started looking into getting some more maternity jeans for the next little while.
Stretch marks? No new ones
Sleep: with Colton being gone up at school so often I have sleep pretty bad and been pretty darn tired lately, but luckily not like I was during my first trimester.
Best moment this week: getting to spend time with my family while dreaming of adding another to it.
Miss anything? This week no. I'm feeling pretty good overall.
Movement: Actually quite a bit this week!! Baby is starting to make itself known. When I sit still for awhile, especially in the evenings we get quite the bubbly acrobatic show.
Food cravings: nothing in particular.
Anything making you queasy or sick: Olive Garden...even thinking of eating it makes me feel nausea
Have you started to show yet: slowly starting to but it's still not really obvious yet.
Gender: October 1st! I really can't wait anymore. I almost went to a fetal studio to find out but I really want to do a gender reveal party so I guess we had better wait a little longer. I don't even know what I think anymore.
Labor signs: nothing, and hopefully nothing until I'm at least 39 weeks
Bell button in or out? In. I have the worlds deepest belly button though so I don't think it will change.
Wedding rings on or off? On, though the heat makes it harder to wear it and have it fit right.
Happy or moody most of the time: I'm happier now than I used to be for sure. Moody occasionally when I'm really tired though.
Looking forward to: finding out the gender, getting to decorate our nursery

16 Weeks:
Your Baby is as Big as a Avocado
  • She's listening to your voice, thanks to tiny bones forming in her ears.
  • She's growing hair, lashes and eyebrows.
  • And she's forming taste buds.
Now, she's about 4.6 inches long and weighs about 3.5 ounces, and she's big enough that your doctor may be able to hear her heartbeat.
