26 weeks

26 weeks

How far along? 26 weeks
Total weight gain/loss:  at my doctor's appointment this week I weighed the exact same as I did before getting pregnant.
Maternity clothes? I have one pair of pants now I wear but I still am wearing my normal dress pants to work and rocking the ponytail and belly band occasionally.
Stretch marks? Nope. Thankfully still not any new ones
Sleep:  sleep has been a little rougher this week. I've started waking up at least once a night to go to the bathroom
Best moment this week:  getting a prenatal massage and seeing a movie with Colton.
Miss anything? Not feeling sick every time I eat. no matter how hungry I am I always feel a million times worse after I eat. It's driVing me crazy!
Movement: I'm not sure if it's how she's positioned or what, but I've been feeling a lot less this week. And what I feel is really low. It's weird to me because Elli was always pushing herself out into my ribs, this girl just kicks down into my pelvis or right around my belly button.
Food cravings:  nope. Maybe if I actually could easy without feeling like crap then I would have cravings.
Anything making you queasy or sick: just eating food. It doesn't seem to matter what it is. It all makes me feel gross.
Have you started to show yet:  definitely! I wish I could just have a pregnant belly all the time.
Gender: little girl E! Are you curious yet eBay her name is going to be?
Labor signs: nope. I'm hoping for nothing for at least 13 more weeks.
Bell button in or out?  in
Wedding rings on or off?  this week I sadly finally reached the point that it doesn't fit. I can still wear it, but is really uncomfortable.
Happy or moody most of the time: still happy but short tempered. I don't remember having this little patience the last time I was pregnant.
Looking forward to:  Thanksgiving! I also have my glucose test this week so I'm expired to get that out of the way.

26 Weeks:
Your Baby is as Big as a Head Of Lettuce
  • Her eyes are forming, and her eyes will soon start to open.
  • And her eyelashes are now grown, too.
  • She's getting her immune system ready for life on the outside by soaking up your antibodies.
  • She's taking breaths, too. They're of amniotic fluid, not air, but it's still good practice.
She's still growing in the 13.6- to 14.8-inch and 1.5- to 2.5-pound range, and developing her senses, features and talents!
