I had to take the 3 hour glucose test this week. It sucked but I actually passed. So that was awesome. I am so relieved that I don't have to worry about having gestational diabetes or any complications from that. Also, this week is an important one, because this week I am officially in the 3rd trimester. That is craziness!! At this point only 12 weeks left until my due date!! Baby has a 95% chance of survival if she were born at this point. It's a good week. At some point here we probably should get going on our nursery too, but we'll get there.
How far along? 28 Weeks
Total weight gain/loss: Nothing, though I'm fully expecting that to change since next week is thanksgiving and that's when I gained the most during my pregnancy with Elli.
Maternity clothes? Some. I need to get some work pants. I can still wear mine, they just don't fit very comfortably when I sit down
Stretch marks? Not really
Sleep: I've actually been sleeping pretty good this week thankfully. I haven't felt the best because of that dumb glucose test but I've still been able to sleep okay.
Best moment this week:Passing the glucose test so I don't have to stress about having diabetes or any complications with that.
Miss anything? Not having numb spots on my hands and left leg
Movement: Some, she's not a super strong kicker or anything but there is enough movement to be happy.
Food cravings: Nothing in particular, thanksgiving next week.
Anything making you queasy or sick: No, overall I feel pretty good.
Have you started to show yet: Only just a little
Gender: GIRL!
Labor signs:I had a ton of braxton hicks type things this week, I don't really know if they were braxton hicks, mostly I just think that my glucose test screwed up my body a little and gave me a pretty upset stomach for 3-4 days afterwards.
Bell button in or out? In
Wedding rings on or off? Off. I can still get it on fine, but it's really tight when I do
Happy or moody most of the time: Both, I'm stressed and busy and tired and that makes me more moody but overall I think I've been better.
Looking forward to: Thanksgiving is next week!!!! I'm going to eat so many mashed potatoes and gravy!
28 Weeks:
Your Baby is as Big as a Eggplant
- She's starting to develop more fat, so her wrinkly skin will start to get smoother.
- Her lungs are mature enough that she'd probably survive if she was born now. Wow!
